Each piece in the collection is designed and handmade by artist and weaver Suzanna Espamer-Murrill in Philadelphia, PA.
The name Ami (AH-me) was inspired by the first natural dye materials Suzanna began to experiment with in the beginning of her natural dye journey - avocado, madder root, and ivy. These naturally derived colors are now part of the core color palette of the Ami brand.
